One Properties in Edmonton, Alberta was working with a prospective tenant for one of their many commercial properties. In order to finalize the lease, the tenant required the ability to access the warehouse with equipment, but there was no existing ground level access. The building had a 14’ dock door that was perfectly suited, but there was no time to pull permits and construct a permanent ramp. Together with One Properties, Nation Ramps designed a ground to dock ramp that met all of their demands to win the contract. Once the contract was awarded the ramp needed to be designed, manufactured, delivered and installed before the end of the current month.

The solution was a Nation Ramps 10-foot wide ground to dock ramp, combined with industrial handrails to support pedestrian traffic. Having worked with commercial building owners and construction companies, we understood the required deliverables.

Prior to beginning the manufacturing process, our engineering team produced drawings for discussion and approval. Once One Properties and the tenant were satisfied and signed off on the design, we engineered, manufactured, delivered and installed the heavy duty ramp in their Edmonton location before the end of the month.
